Learning Disabilities Association of America, The LDA is the largest non-profit volunteer organization advocating for individuals with learning disabilities and has over 200 state and local affiliates in 42 states and Puerto Rico. The membership composed of individuals with learning disabilities, family members and concerned professionals, advocates for the almost three million students of school age with learning disabilities and for adults affected with learning disabilities. The website contains articles for parents, teachers, professionals, and adults.
The mission of the Utah Parent Center is to help parents help their children with disabilities live included, productive lives as members of the community. We accomplish our mission by providing accurate information, empathetic peer support, valuable training, and effective advocacy based on the concept of parents helping parents. The UPC offers free training, information, referral, and assistance to parents and professionals through the provision of one-on-one consultations (or calls), workshops, and presentations.

LD Resources, This website was created to provide information for people with learning disabilities and people who work with people with learning disabilities. It provides handouts in digital form and contains hundreds of articles on learning disabilities.
National Center for Learning Disabilities, NCLD provides essential information to parents, professionals, and individuals with learning disabilities, promotes research and programs to foster effective learning and advocates for policies to protect and strengthen educational rights and opportunities. NCLD provides information for parents, adults, teachers, and other professionals.
International Dyslexia Association, The International Dyslexia Association (IDA) is an international organization that concerns itself with the complex issues of dyslexia. The IDA membership consists of a variety of professionals in partnership with people with dyslexia and their families and all others interested in The Association’s mission.
National Information Center for Children and Youth with Disabilities, The NICHCY offers information about disabilities. They serve the nation as a central source of information on disabilities in infants, toddlers, children, and youth. You’ll also find easy-to-read information on IDEA, the law authorizing early intervention services and special education. Their State Resource Sheets will help you connect with the disability agencies and organizations in your state. The site has many free articles and publications and a newsletter.
Wrightslaw, Parents educators, advocates, and attorneys come to Wrightslaw for accurate, reliable information about special education law, education law, and advocacy for children with disabilities. They have an extensive library of articles, cases, and resources on dozens of topics.
National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke
National Institute of Child Health and Human Development, The NICHD was initially established to investigate the broad aspects of human development as a means to understanding developmental disabilities, including intellectual and developmental disabilities and the events that occur during pregnancy. Today the Institute conducts and supports research on all stages of human development, from preconception to adulthood, to better understand the health of children, adults, families, and communities.

LD Podcast is a weekly podcast about all aspects of learning disabilities and kids who struggle in school.
